I never thought I would die in London, England. On June 16, 1980, I was killed in an automobile accident there. There was no self and no earth. It was like being in love on a beautiful day with the sun shining to the millionth power. I spent the subsequent eighteen months passionately wanting to return to where I had gone. Twenty-eight years and three books later, I realize we do not have to return. The truth is that we don’t die. This book is not an account of my experience, but, rather, the essence of the truth forever contained ultimately within that experience and with The Immortal Now.
